2 month check-up

Today was Katy's 2 month check-up. SHe got her first set of shots. She smiled all the way up to the first prick, then the crying began. No worries, she calmed down pretty quickly. She is in the 90% (for her age) with her height at 24" and 80% with her weight at 12 lbs 2 oz. She is healthy and doing well. Kristy showing off Katy's band-aids and height.

Easter Day

Apologies, this post is backwards, this is going from the evening to the morning. That being said Easter was great. We took a family pic, which Kristy wasnt to cooperative for. But it is of all four of us none the less.
Then there is Kristy posing, if you let her do her own thing she will pose all day long, especially when she is wearing a pretty new dress. So here is her doing her thing.
Katy got some one on one time with her Great Great Grandma (GG Nana). What a blessing to have so many generations together.
After having dinner, in an attempt to keep the kids entertained we had them hide eggs for the adults to hunt for, the slightly unfair advantage was that they were hiding the small chocolate eggs, so it required Kristy giving hints in order to find them. Hope we got them all. This is her showing Brian where one was. This is cousin Jessica holding Katy in her pretty dress. We even got the slightest bit of a smile.
And Finally here is the scrapbook page I did after the morning events. In case you cant read the journaling we woke to find the Easter bunny had hidden eggs in our yard and the neighbors across the street... if you recall an earlier post Kristy's boyfriends family moved in, so we figured we would let them hunt eggs together, so it was a good morning. We also had The Beyea family over to enjoy the morning.
At the end of the day it was very pleasant and relaxing. The only bad thing is that the winds have been so bad that we have a hard time walking with out being pushed around by the winds. As long as we don't get blown down the street, like many trash cans do, I guess we are ok. Thanks for keeping up with us. Til next time.

Easter Bunny

Today we joined a friend at the park for her squadron Easter Partyor as Kristy calls it, the "goofy bunnny". They had an egg hunt and the Bunny was delivered by the ambulance... (the ambulance upset a few people, who were driving, by turning on codes to clear traffic in order to cross the road to the park where the party was at... oops) so on to the pics. The Easter Bunny was met by many young kids, Kristy was one of the first.
Kristy, Katy and the Bunny
Katy and the bunny, who against mascot rules said "she is so cute"... thank you, we think so.
Kristy had her chance to say good bye to the Bunny.
Kristy found a friend from her class, Brandon, they were inseperable the rest of the time we were there.
Kristy had to show me, her shoes matched the slide! A very exciting reality for a 4 year old.
Thanks to the Mastropaolo's for inviting us to join them. (Stacey, Adam and Caden)
