I spent a good amount of extra hours putting together this long lasting gift for Kristy. She had asked me to frame her flowers so she could have something to remind her of NAna GG, so I told her yes. Well it is finally done and was under the tree waiting for her. I love this gift because it is a reminder that this life is temporary, we need to live it to the fullest and love our family and friends while we are blessed to have them a part of our everyday. The plate says Families are Forever Nana GG (Rose Chapman) and Kristy Mace. I love how it turned out.

Christmas Day
Curious to see what Santa brought.
the McD's drive thru playset! YES!
Barbies and stuff.
Aunt Becky made Kristy a necklace with beads and a charm that Kristy selected when we got to visit. She loves it.
Katy is getting a big girl bed this weekend so she got a new sheet set and blanket for that.

Christmas day con't.
After a most of the gifts were open we let Kristy know there is one gift that must be hiding... the search was on.
Found it!
The pink 2 wheeler bike that she has always wanted!
Katy wants to ride it too!
That was overwhelming so Katy decided to chill for bit. Too cute!

Christmas Eve
We sent the evening making puppy chow that we then delivered to some really great friends to let them know we were thinking of them and appreciate them. We then tracked Santa and watched him go from Europe to south america and then to Florida (Nana) and Guatemala (Nana G and Papa). Kristy wanted to go to bed when he moved to this side of the Atlantic but we had to make cookies and open the present of the eve.

Dec 2nd
We had our Christmas tree lighting here at Edwards. As usual Katy was not happy about the cold snow. Kristy loved it until she got too cold then it was about the hot chocolate and seeing Santa (who Katy was also not thrilled about getting too close to.
Katy loves talking about him and telling everyone about Santa but will not willingly get within 8 ft of him. lol.

Thanksgiving
The day before Thanksgiving we took Dad into the hospital. Turns out he had pnuemonia in both lungs. He spent 4 days in the care of our local hospital. The girls got him a bear to make him feel better.
The rest of us spent thanksgiving with our friends the Wilsons. We played a little...
And enjoyed good food. We even snuck some to Dad. This is Sandy, her Dad and James in the background.
Ariel (Sandy's granddaughter) and Katy.
