Finally the video

It is not the greatest quality because it came as a dvd and had to be converted to upload, but you get the idea. Pretty cute and very cool.

4th of July

We spent the 4th at our friends, Sandy and James home. We all pitched in to put on a fireworks show. We ladies got to do the pyrotechnics...lolThe little girls got to get decked out in glow jewelry. They loved modeling it. (Have I ever mentioned I think we are very much in trouble with these two?)

and the highlight of the day, we got to swim. We spent many hours in thepool. The girls had a blast. The best part was that Katy learned how to keep her head up and spit out water before she chokes on it. She was jumping in and paddling around the shallow end of the pool. Kristy loves jumping in and even did a few flips. (we had to put a stop to that when Katy was trying to copy her jumping in.)

Everyone got really worn out and slept great!

Weight drop

In the last week of March at work we started our 3 month weight loss program. Pretty much whatever we wanted to do individually and encourage each other along the way. I had planned to be better about the updates through the process but it was more difficult than I thought it would be. I am working on getting a pic from before march to have a full before, part way and current. This is in no way the end of my weigh loss but I am sure it is going to be more difficult from here on. So in 3 months I was the biggest loser with a loss of 21.4 lbs. The pics arent the best but they document progress. Here is a shot from Katys birthday, February 14th, 2009. You can't see all of me, but it gives you an idea (wearing the same sweater). You can see the difference in the length of the sleeve, how my hand fits in the pocket. I have lost between 1.5-3 inches in all measurements. It has been a good start and I look forward to getting to the point where I don't have to explain where the loses are.
Oh and the best part, all of these loses equate to wearing 1-2 sizes smaller in shirts and 2 sizes smaller in pants!
