This month has been very busy.
We got Kristy registered for Kindergarten, thanks to me being crazy parent #1 and sitting in front of the school at 5 am to be first in line. by 6:30 there were 30 parents in line, which was all the slots guarateed to have an AM slot.
I had my first root canal, I'm still waiting for the permanent crown, but can say it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
I've had 3 Portrait Sessions this month. For all the other things going on it hasn't been bad, although I really am hoping to get my photography to be more profitable than my job.
We were able to attend the farewell celebration for Papa Graffs Retirement. I have a few pics from that...
There was an ad in the paper congratulating Papa on his retirement.
With their mission call to Guatemala some friends got them a journal and photo album.
Katy enjoyed the snacks.
It was some what small but there was plenty of conversation and laughs had.
Congrats Papa!
Brian and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary yesterday... Brian got me roses and we got the girls to bed early so we could have a few minutes to talk and reflect on all that we've done and how far we've come. We agreed that we look forward to the next 50+ years to come...lol.
Katy has graduated to toddler. She is not only walking but she is climbing! So we are constantly running to keep her out of things and moving things higher out of reach.
Hopefully time will allow for some more regular post. Until then....

Bowling
Kristy finished her first year of bowling last week. We are looking forward to having the weekend back.
This is the young peewee's (there are 3 that weren't there.)
Kristy striking a pose... no pun intended
She got her first trophy... yeah! Her average was about 79 pins per game, my first league my average was 80!
Katy just chilled...

Mothers Day
I was treated to a great day at Disneyland for mothers day. Being that we have gone there a few times before we were able to take it nice and easy, it also helped that it wasn't terribly busy. First thing we did was go on space mountain, and Kristy got to ride her first Rollercoaster! I will get the picture that explains that...
Kristy is very fascinated by maps and she loves to get her own map of the park so she can look it over and see where we are and where we should go.
We went on Pirates after Space Mountain. Only natural to have gone on this ride, then there is Katy who feel asleep on the ride.
A few snapshots here and there.
We ended the day with the submarine ride, Kristy was so fun to watch, eagerly looking for Nemo and announcing to everyone when she found him. Then getting scared by a few parts and backking up as far as possible. No crying though, and then theres Katy, she fell asleep!
I hope every one had a great mothers day! More to come.

Since When?
Since when are drive thru windows = drive up, order, pay, pull around the corner so we can bring you your food? This is something that irritates me. If I wanted to have someone bring me my food or wanted to take the time to park and wait for food I would do exactly that. Jack n the Box and even burger king are now doing this. Why? Because they have timers that clock how long people sit waiting for food? I know this is stupid but as busy as we have been and as much as we have been eating out it really ticks me off. Gggrrrrrrr! A pet peeve that just may drive me to slow down and cook at home... wait that would be letting them win... I don't know, I jsut know that I will defiantly refuse any time in the future I get asked to do this. The las time we were asked to do this we waited and waited, I finally went in and asked where my food was and she pulled the last item off the shelf (where it had been sitting for at least the 2 minutes I was waiting to be acknowledged) and gave me our food... Be prepared if this happens to you, just say NO!
