Kristy, Kristy, Kristy

Kristy has been telling us for a few weeks (at least) that her teeth hurt. She just turned 5, didn't think about her getting new teeth already, I mean the dentist had said she was getting there but I expected to make it until her October appt. before seeing anything. So it took me by surprise when I saw Sunday morning that not only are her front teeth loose, but her big teeth are breaking through behind them!
We got home from work and had dinner and got the girls their baths. Kristy is so excited that she has loose teeth and just can't wait to be like her friends who have lost as many as 4 teeth already. She begged and bribed us to pull out her teeth! So as any great parent would we spent a good amount of time wiggling and pushing on her tooth (start small and go from there).
Anxiously awaiting the loss of a tooth! (and my last pics of her with all baby teeth!)
The camera went away and the camcorder came out, we will see about video at another time. Long and short we resorted to the floss and door trick! First time failed, second time worked.... She was so excited! Once we got everything cleaned up and recovered ourselves (definitely more traumatizing for me than her) we took a few more pictures and I had to promise to put them up for everyone to see!
Her smile is still intact and beautiful as ever. She told Brian while showing off her tooth,"You are the greatest Dad EVER!", she is right. He was able to help her be excited and have an incredibly memorable experience.
One down, one to go (for now anyway). She has just a couple weeks to adjust before school starts and gets us to yet another big milestone for our blossoming beauty.

She is so darn cute!!!!! John says he can't allow her to lose any teeth, it means she's gettin older. He says she has to remain little. haha I love to see little kids' excitement with losing teeth. Funny how you can't wait to lose them when you're little and try so hard to keep them when you're older! LOL

Love n miss you guys!!!!
