The boom-boom came!

We took the opportunity to go out to watch the shuttle arrive. We have seen many landings in our time here at Edwards and this is the first time I have documented the event. While waiting for the "BOom-boom" (Katy calls the shuttle and most other aircraft boom-boom since the last return). I took advantage and got some pics of the girls and Brian.


Here it is falling from space...
And touchdown! Possibly one of the most emotional moments is seeing that puff of smoke as the tires hit the ground and it slows to a stop. Such an amazing experience.
